Toastmasters Leadership Training!
webassets/mainTLI.jpg

Trained officers are a requirement of the Distinguished Club Plan, because trained officers have learned ways to inspire their club members to succeed! Are all of your club’s officers trained? Club officers - did you attend officer training this summer? Will your club dare to succeed?

    What is TLI?

It's the Toastmasters Leadership Institute, where Toastmasters from across the district come together to network, share ideas, and be inspired. It's where newly-elected club officers receive training on how to best serve their clubs. And it's where any Toastmaster can expand skill sets as a communicator and a leader with additional educational sessions

Winter 2011 TLI

Winter Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) 2012 is quickly approaching so we need to be sure to spread the word and remind club officers to attend training. Club Officers training is extremely important for both annual and semi-annual clubs because without properly trained officers, clubs cannot meet members' needs or introduce the benefits of Toastmasters to others. For clubs that elect officers annually, this second training provides benefits such as giving officers the opportunity to discuss any problems they may be having, getting advice from district leaders and networking with officers of other clubs. For clubs electing semi-annually, this training allows newly-elected officers to learn their roles and responsibilities, to meet district leaders who can help them during their term and to get new ideas about how to improve their clubs.

Jump Start your Club Officer training at the Jump Start TLI Thursday, December 15, 2011 at University of Texas at Dallas School of Management 800 West Campbell Road, Richardson, Texas 75080 at 7:00 p.m.

This is Officer's Training Only. Then join us for Kick-off TLI Saturday, January 14, 2012 at University of Texas at Dallas School of Management. We have an excellent team of instructors, keynote speakers and educational sessions planned for the Kick-off TLI event.
